Complete the Words
Use the surrounding passage to reconstruct unfinished words. Read the whole sentence before deciding which letters are missing: grammar, meaning and word form all provide clues. This task rewards careful reading rather than isolated vocabulary recall. Enter only the missing letters and use the keyboard to move between blanks. Work steadily within the section timer, then review your accuracy in the report. During a full practice, these responses also contribute to the first module result used to choose your second Reading module. The practice routing rule is an estimate, not the official adaptive algorithm.
Read in Daily Life
Read practical texts such as notices, emails and short messages, then answer questions about their purpose and details. Identify who is communicating, what action is expected and which conditions change the meaning. Small words, dates and exceptions can matter as much as the main idea. Each original text provides a compact setting so you can practice extracting information under time pressure. Choose the best answer from the available options. After scoring, use the report to compare your response with the expected answer and explanation, and look for recurring misunderstandings across similar everyday situations.
Read an Academic Passage
Work through an original passage about an academic topic and answer questions that test comprehension, vocabulary and reasoning. Start by noticing how the paragraphs connect and what role each example plays. When a question asks for a detail or inference, return to the relevant part of the text rather than relying on general knowledge. The practice report groups performance by task type and explains incorrect responses. Use those explanations to separate vocabulary gaps from mistakes in interpreting an argument. Reading practice includes two modules, with the second selected according to your first module accuracy.
